The main goal for this project was to provide a comparison of national leadership profiles in Singapore and the U.S. using items and scales that have been shown to be repeatedly and positively related to sustainable growth and performance. Additional national profile comparisons will be included in subsequent GLI briefings. Results of the Singapore Poll and comparisons to the U.S. 2004 GLI Poll on Leadership with a comparable national sample showed that the U.S. leaders were rated higher on all of the scales representing authentic and proactive transformational leadership.
